Sorry for this late communicate but i really wanted to check it out that UFD can be used to BOOT XP  Not every new BIOS ordain accept you to configure the USB port to act as a bootable device. And some that do allow it don't make it easy. On one of my example systems it was a no-brainer. On the other the UFD had to be connected to the USB port before it was apparent that I could configure it as a bootable device. Plug in the UFD and take a closer look. On my system with a PhoenixBIOS version 62.04 on a INTEL 845GVSR motherboard (which was common in our year). I accessed the BIOS went to the boot check and found that USB Storage Stick was not one of the options. NOTE: If you undergo USB storage device as a bootable device in the options then just make it as your first bootable device. You don’t need to proceed further. Your system can support to kick Windows XP from a USB Flash Drive (UFD) Finding UFD as a bootable device was however not easy as 1 drive was shown as my floppy drive and there was initially no sign of my UFD in bootable devices. So I went to the REMOVABLE DEVICES option (here I could see my UFD as a bootable device) on the same screen and changed my preference of 1 More ever in the same bios version to boot Windows XP from a UFD you have to make some adjustments. Goto ADVANCED screen and decide BOOT CONFIGURATION and there you would see an option PLAY & PLUG O/S. dress the settings to YES. Now you can boot from a UFD. On by brother’s system with an AMI BIOS version 2.59 (can’t bequeath the mother board). I accessed the BIOS went to the Boot grade check and didn't find a USB boot option. I then went one go advance and checked the Hard Disk Drives screen and comfort didn't sight a USB boot option. I then plugged a UFD into the USB port booted up the system and accessed the BIOS. When I checked the Hard plough Drives check the UFD appeared in the enumerate and I could select it as the first drive. When I returned to the Boot Sequence screen the UFD was indeed set as the first bootable device. Try the above procedure first other wise the next blogs may be of no use to you. And Malaviyans gratify do leave a comment here that will be a moral booster for me and it shows that you are not dumb and have interest in these new updates in technologies. So gratify do drop your time here instead of chatting and Orkuting and playing Counter-Strike on the LAN. I want some initiative from my juniors too. Those who are interested to kick Windows XP from a USB Flash Drive (UFD) just wait for my next communicate. I ordain explain you the procedures.

"Kein Boot from CD möglich, keine Chance, ins BIOS zu kommen" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 15:27:01

DVD- LW. HAMA –USB-Maus. MFG

"[AYUDA] No Se Por Donde Empezar" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 13:48:07

HOLA.... GRACIAS!

B/c the only extra one I undergo is AGP and this is PCI convey video mobo. The video card is a GeForce 6600 GT 128MB RAM.*Also on the beep codes summon there is nothing for 1-1-1 series of beeps what does that mean? I was thinking memory also. You may try reseating them in the slots changing them around. If you have 2 sticks pull one and try it then the other. In my experience when it gives beeps like that it's normally RAM. Hope I helped... Nothing has changed this is not a new build. I just came home one day and the video wasn't working. I always suspect the power give on deal like this. Yours might have partially died.
